Content age ratings

How it works

Your birth year (Me → Settings, or entered by a parent for a child account) sets the highest rating you can see; you can only LOWER it, not go above your age. No birth year = adult.

Topics Echo does not cover

Echo has no lessons, stories, practice questions or example sentences about suicide / self-harm, abortion or sex — at any rating, 16+ included. If a word does come up, it is only a reference to news, law or prevention: never a description of the act, never encouragement. Every lesson is checked automatically before approval; content that breaks this rule never reaches learners.
