What are AI credits?
💡 AI feedback on speaking, writing, and exam simulations uses your monthly AI credits; when they run out your work is still saved, just not graded.
What AI credits are for
Each AI review of a speaking or writing answer (or a pronunciation check) uses a few AI credits for the month — about 4–6 for a one-minute speaking answer, 1–3 for a writing answer, and 10 AI credits / test attempt for Exam Simulations (IELTS / TOEIC, reserved for Plus plan and above). Asking Vulpi costs about 1 credit per answer; questions Vulpi declines or can't answer are free. Your remaining credits show next to every AI feature (“🤖 N AI credits left”) and in Me → Plan.
Tips to save AI credits
AI credits are shared between asking Vulpi and grading speaking, writing and pronunciation, so:
- Questions about using Echo (plans, groups, tests, installing…): search the Help center first — reading guides is free.
- Speaking / writing: listen back and proofread before sending; pronunciation: listen to the model and practise first.
- Ask Vulpi one clear, complete question instead of several short ones.
When they run out
Your answer is still saved and counts as done, it just has no AI feedback. Credits refill on the 1st of next month (Vietnam time). To keep going right away:
- Swap stickers on the Stickers & rewards page: 10 stickers = +5 AI credits until the end of the month (up to 3 times a month).
- Get the AI add-on in Me → Plan — its credits are added on top of your plan.
Who can use it
Only accounts with a verified email (signed in with Google or an email link). Your AI history is in Me → Plan.
